Ever wonder what dessert your state is known for? I’ve gone through and And, with the help from a few blogger friends, I’ve made a list of desserts from each of our 50 states.
Dessert Recipes From 50 States
The bloggers who made these wonderful desserts are not necessarily from these states, but they represent well. However, there are quite a few that are from the state their dessert belongs to.

Alabama Lane Cake made it's debut in 1898. Mrs. Emma Rylander Lane, from Alabama was ahead of the Amazon game and self-published her cookbook with this sweet treat. Plus, it even got some mentions in To Kill A Mockingbird.

I couldn't find a dessert for Colorado, which is where I grew up, so I decided to come up with my own. We ate a lot of chocolate growing up and you just can't go wrong with chocolate, so Chocolate Lasagna is my official Colorado State Dessert.

"Derby-Pie" is the state dessert for the wonderful state of Kentucky, but there's a copyright on that, so we're making butter crunch cake our dessert for this post-and you won't be a bit sorry. It's filled with buttermilk, cream cheese, and all of the best ingredients and topped with coconut, almonds, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Drooling yet?
